Visitor Information and Tourism Open ForumTourism is perhaps the most important contributor to our local economy and is key to ensuring the health of our High St. and the range and quality of the services we enjoy - from pubs and restaurants to the High Street shops. It also provides much-needed employment.For well over twenty years, Chipping Campden's Visitor Information Centre has been a vital part of our support for Tourism and has provided a range of much-valued community services.However, we are still facing significant challenges following the sudden withdrawal of CDC Grant funding last September. You can help to ensure we can continue to support our town.If you run a business in hospitality retail or any other tourism-related activity, your ideas and support could make a vital difference.If you are a resident of Campden or the surrounding area (anywhere the Bulletin is delivered) and have even just a few hours a week, we desperately need more volunteers to staff the shop and help run our website.To find out more about how you can help, share your suggestions or thoughts, or even get a better understanding of our activities and plans, you are invited to an Open Forum to be held in the Court Room of the Old Police Station at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10th.We look forward to seeing you there.
