Chipping Campden’s present GP Surgery is not adequate for the amount of people who are already living in this area let alone all the new properties.It has no proper car park!We deserve better

I think that an additional surgery is required, I would not like a new surgery to be managed by those responsible for the existing surgery however. We deserve better than what they can provide

We desperately need a new larger surgery

On the 18th November, a consultation was held to view the outline plans for the proposed new access from Aston Road to the school. This would also provide a new car and coach park, new housing, provide a possible site for a new surgery building for the Chipping Campden GP practice, a new Public car park and to ask any questions. If you were unable to attend, you can view the plans online by visiting the following link until 10th December:<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/astonroad">www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/astonroad</a>Should you not be able to access the internet, a display will be available in the Town Hall until 10th December 2021.The plans aim to: • Reduce congestion in the town from school traffic clogging the narrow streets • Improve air quality due to the reduced movement of school traffic through the town • Provide a vital community / public carpark at the front of the school for visitors to the town which will be available 24/7 365 days a year • Return much needed hard play space in the school, currently used for staff and student parking, to school students • Provide a possible site for a new surgery building for the Chipping Campden GP practice.Your comments and suggestions will be taken into account when formulating the final planning application submission.
